Beefcake says they all have fitment issues and that the Pypes are actually the easiest to install.
Fitment issues? We've installed more than 100 sets of headers in house without a single fitment issue. With that said, the brands we've installed are ARH/ SW-SP/ and Kooks, kooks I personally found more difficult due to the primary design.

We havent installed a set of Pypes on the S550 yet so we honestly cant give you honest feedback outside of 3rd party information. We have installed a few sets of MBRP without a single issue but again, only a few sets.

just to clarify, they all fit tight. your putting a long tube header into a tight area.

all the brands will go in without touching, but they will all be tight as there is only so much room

TSP catless headers here. Installer said they looked great and had no problems. If you can swing the $$ I would say a full ARH set up or ARH with a Corsa system.

My Pypes went in fine. They were touching at first, but that was because I was a noob who had the engine jacked up a mile high during the install. :D

After a proper install, how much room should you have between the primaries and the unibody "frame rail"? From photos I've seen, this is the tightest area. Aside from the AC bolt.

so from questioning vendors to no end. it seems arh and kooks sound the best due to thinkness of the the primaries. any input on that?

it has an engine!
Look at the comparison hypermotive did of stainless works vs Arh on the corsa systems. It cleaned up the sound and was a bit louder.

OBX here. 550.00 from flebay, off roads came with 6 inch resonators that fit on the header collector. fitment was great, no need to relocate the o2's they are already tipped down. Only down fall was I needed to have 3 inches of tubing added to the ORP to attach the Corsa exhaust. excellent clearance all around. 3.5k miles no issues at all. I'd buy the satin finish next time though.
