I'm still amazed than nothing leaked from the dealer presentation in Vegas last month. Either Ford have some stand-up employees.......top notch security......or buttoned down NDAs. Probably a mixture of all three.

Right now, I'd settle for knowing what show the '18 will be revealed at. At least then I wouldn't have to keep hit F5 on this thread every 2 minutes :headbonk:

Not much longer to wait...we'll get some intentional leaks from Ford before LA I'm sure. I think LA is a good show to do the refresh..it's more of a show off event vs big reveals for American cars like CHI/DET are.

I think they just make sure at the dealer events that everyones cameras/phones are in their pockets and not allowed out during reveals to stop things like this or they make them leave their phones at a check point etc and yep good NDAs.

The more I look at the camo'd car front from the window forward, the more and more it's looking like a Audi A5/S5/Mustang combo.

The leak was increased power, 10Speed AT, new infotainment, magnaride optional, and new front/rear fascias. What we haven't seen yet is good pics of the changes.....I am going to SEMA in 2 weeks so hopefully I can squeeze out some more....if nothing's revealed before 11/1! Plus I want to know if my prediction of an early MY18 Job 1 date was right. I think we will see a late Mar/early April Job 1 with '18s on the lot in June.

I brought that up at the DC Auto show to their main person there...said why are you releasing a sports car in September when the weather starts to turn...I'm glad they realized this should be a late spring/early summer release. :)

This is the best render I've seen in a long time.

I'd laugh if Ford got this out the door next year because it looks like the sloping hood is exactly what Chevy is trending toward with the Camaro. They've pinched the upper grille down so much they can barely fit the bowtie in it anymore. The next step in the evolution is to close it up completely and extend the nose out a few inches.

If Ford's serious about building a more global Mustang I think this is the way to go.

Ah, yes, sorry should have been more specific in that I meant leaked photos :)

Certainly that leaked info backs up rumours that have been ongoing here for a while now.

I'm also going to SEMA next month! Perhaps we can team up to squeeze new info out of the Ford reps :paddle:

I think we should, that's how I've gotten most all of my info! I'm hoping I can squeeze a performance ride in one of the Raptors or Focus RS, or maybe a VIP tour of the Shelby factory and museum.

Curious to know how much of this would also translate over to the EU model.

One of my favourites from Kemal Curic's early design sketches.......love the hood, headlamp shape and, yes, even the rear quarter vents!

See that's an aggressive front end fasica/look that should have been on it. It's a shame they go so generic.

Can't wait for the reveal...on pins waiting to see what's finally coming.

Nah, that reminds me of an upside down Camaro fascia. The current design is better, they'd need to go with something else.
