Need help, got warning this morning.

Today after I start my engine, My screen showed a warning said service tire mobility kit. What is it about? Does it mean I need to check my tires? My car just got new tires two days ago. I also noticed that there is "tire mobility" in settings. And there are four options 1 year 2years 3years and 4 years. Is it a timing like it will automatically shows on your screen? Thanks.

It's the airpump/sealant thing in the spare tire well.
I think it expires after certain period of time.
It's just a reminder telling you to get a new one.

yep, you should be able to pick a new setting and it will remind you again in a couple of years.

Well if you do not have spare tire just the factory pump, I would make sure it's up-to-date so you don't get stranded on the side of the road. The chemical is like medicine. It expires.

It is essentially a fix-a-flat dispenser connected to the air pump you got with your car instead of a spare tire. That goo is only good for so long. There is an expiration date on the canister. The goo might be effective longer, but the date printed on it is as long as Ford's lawyers trust it. It looks like $55 will get you a new tub (Part Number: 1568).

if you are under warranty shouldnt ford give it to you? how long does it last? i gotta be honest i never even looked at mine

Set the reminder notice to 3 or 4 years in the main menu display options... Your Dealer or someone else probably set it to 1 year...

I don't believe the car knows WHEN that kit would or could expire - the setting found in the main display is what will create the expiration notification.

Been doing this for years. and for $55 you can buy this setup. Also it never expires and it won't gum up your tire when it comes to replacing time.

From my experience, I would never use the sealant, it will gum up the inside of your tire and rim
