Just got back from a 1900 mile trip across France, Luxembourg, Holland and Belgium

Car ran perfectly, in fact with my knackard knees, it was a complete joy to drive those long distances, so comfy and relaxing.

But the reactions from our European friends was priceless, loads and loads of positive comments, lots of questions, thumbsups from youngsters and loads of folk taking pics..:hail:

Currently planning next years trip to Austria, and Czechoslovakia for the Moto GP:first::first:

Heading round Lake Garda yesterday, stopped at a pedestrian crossing, young attractive girl crosses, obviously working in the bar/restaurant on the other side, just stopped, mouthed 'Nice Car' and gave a thumbsup

Look on the Mrs face was priceless, needless to say, I wasn't smug for the rest of the day :lol:

Had a beautiful young lady walk past mine the other day, she smiled and said 'lovely car'.

Had to go to a meeting at my son's school, a ludicrously expensive one at my ex wife's insistence, just as the boys were heading home.

There are queues of giant luxo 4x4s, Bentleys, Porsche as well as top end BMWs, Audis and Mercs waiting to pick sons up.

What stopped the hundreds of 11 to 18 year old lads in their tracks to point, stare, shout out and wave.

My CO Mustang GT.

Many of the lads actually knew what it was too.

Had another one today....did the monthly Costco run, and on the way back to the car, there was a lady and her daughter discussing what it was....

The daughter said Ferrari, the mother said Mustang

I confirmed that it was indeed a Mustang, and the mother replied, I knew it was, and it's way cooler than a Ferrari...:hail::hail:

My wife was with me, and soon brought me back down to earth with her "it's just a car" comment:tsk::(:(:rant:

I can understand some confusion with yours from non petrol heads, at least it's red

Had a young lady throw her arms in the air waving then blew me a kiss the other day. Mrs Tooley unimpressed (she was in the car..) "No dear, I've no idea who she was" (I didn't actually !)

Then a fearsome looking hells angel type (I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle..) in the petrol station looks at me straight in the eye and nods appreciatively. This car certainly gets some attention !

I had a Harley dude give me a thumb up on the motorway on Sunday. He was on a Forty Eight, I will own one some day I love those bikes
