Different Brake Caliper Spindles? Question about changing calipers...

Hey Guys,

Some of you have swapped your 350 Calipers for the R calipers. Was it a straight forward process? The reason I ask is the parts guy at ford says it wont work. They have different spindles? I'm not tech savy..

He is full of shit, its the same exact caliper just red. I swapped them myself, very straight forward, only real PITA is the ebrake linkage, you gotta back the nut way off to get enough slack in the line to remove it

Buy the calipers and make the drive to Sacramento. I'll be happy to help you with the swap - no charge.

While you're at it, you may wanna get the caliper studs from [MENTION=19066]Epiphany[/MENTION] so that it makes changing pads a breeze.

Parts guy at his dealer would probably say they only work on the 2018 GT500.

The caliper studs are an excellent solution for someone that tracks their car and the most opportune time to add them is indeed during a caliper change. Thanks for the suggestion Fred!
