Last year I purchased a set of SVE series 3 wheels to replace the factory 20" foundry wheels it came with. My problem is, every time I see a picture of somebody's car with the foundry wheels, I think "man those look so good". I like the looks of my new wheels and the look of the staggered wheel sizes. It's just that now I can't rotate the tires, and we get snow here in the winter which really makes the wheels look like shit.

So, do I keep the ones I have on the car now, or go back to stock and have the ability to rotate tires again. One upside of the SVE's is, if I go with a power adder, I can run wider tires for better traction. What to do......

Here's a couple pics with both wheels:

I'm not really a fan of either wheel. I like the bottom ones better than the top though.

I like the factory rims better... also why do you have Boss 302 rocker stripes?

Even though I changed them, I LOVED my 20" foundry rims. :ford:
[I stayed with that size rim - and the square set-up, too; more cost-effective. Tires ain't cheap. ;)]

I have the Foundry wheels on my Mustang and really like them, I also get a lot of compliments on them. I might get a set of PP wheels to throw some all season tires on for the winter and see how the black wheels look on my black car. As far as looks the 20in Foundry wheels attract a lot of good attention. Unfortunately I took my month old GT through a Taco Bell drive thru and the curb tore up my rear wheel, so now I need to repair/repaint it. :(

Find some black PP take offs for a good price, then sell your stock and SVE wheels and use that money to pay for the new black PP wheels.

Black wheels would really look good with your yellow and black combination going on.

PS: Take off that Boss 302 decal. The only people that will even notice that are also the same ones that know its not a Boss 302. Stay real... It's a 5.0L, you're good.

When I was looking at rocker stripes they said GT or GT350. The GT thing is played out and they still make the GT350. Since they don't make the Boss any longer, (and the Boss's stripes were completely different) I went with it because it is BOSS and it's got a 302. Not trying to POSE. You'd be amazed how many people come up to me and say "man, that's the best looking Boss 302 I've ever seen". The first thing I do is tell them it's not a Boss, it's just some graphics I had made because I liked them. No harm no foul. I'm not asking you to put it on your car, I just happen to like it on mine better than any other rocker stripe I've seen available.

Maybe I should check and see if they can fit "Bee Stang" in there.

Wish someone would make a staggered foundry setup. I do love them too but OEM ones are not wide enough.

Love the 20" Foundry wheels. They're quite exspensive 2 btw. Would love to get a set but I'm saving money for Snow tires.

I wish there were 19x10 et 35 versions available. I love how the Foundry wheels look.

I hear you. That is the one thing I disliked about the foundry, they show your mistakes too well. I went with a silver/gunmetal concave style so it's a little more difficult to detect those scrapes. :p

I would make a huge mess with some black rims.

Wasn't knocking it, just wanted to see if their was a story behind it. You are free to do whatever you want. Thanks for the response.
