I think this is very valid and perhaps a good legal case? My tech car shouldn't show TRACK as an option or if TRACK is selected, it should ask if you have installed Transmission and Rear Diff coolers. But it doesn't so Ford is at fault here in my opinion. Is is embarrassing a 2016 Mustang GT can do track days and we can't? The fact 2017 GT350's come with the extra coolers is the point, not the new increased Retail Price. So tell me again how my tech car was not built for the track, it's got this button on the steering wheel that I can flip through to a setting that clearly says "TRACK". So how would Ford say I'm the idiot for expecting the car to perform without going into limp mode...... on the TRACK????
Perhaps Ford thought the base and tech cars could do 20 minute sessions without issue and that is why the TRACK option is in our cars but? Could it be argued the Track package GT350 means it can go on the track all day without issue?
