Hi All,

have a quick question.

if you go to see a used mustang 2015 ecoboost and you see the coolant level is lower than min a little bit -what dos this mostly mean? is this happen to u guys when u just got ur car

is the car still good to deal with? is it normally for a turbo car? But this is 2015 car -don't really think there is any leaks.

Is coolant issue under the powertrain warrant?

thanks.

Go to the dealer and tell them to top it up for you.
Yes most new cars don't come with enough coolant. Both my GT were sitting at low line when I got them.

Yea go to the dealer and have them fill it up for you and then keep an eye on it. It gets lower then you have a leak.

Honestly - 600 miles away? And you're already having doubts?

Be smart - pass on it.

The coolant level can be low for MANY reasons, but to guess at which from a picture - too many variables! I mean is it low because:
someone purged the system and did not fill it back up all the way
is it low because someone left the cap off and it boiled over
is it low because there is a head gasket leak
is it low because the hose coming off the bottle is leaking
is it low because the other coolant hoses are leaking
is it low because there is a crack in the bottle
is it low because the engine block is cracked
is it low because the radiator has a leak
is it low because the heater core is leaking, etc etc etc

See?

I would never buy any vehicle without being able to physically touch it, smell it and drive it.

You're taking a huge risk if you're buying any vehicle over the Internet without being able to physically go over it inside and out. Anyone, including a Dealer can tell you "A" and when you receive the vehicle - it had B through Z wrong with it.

Don't be foolish - just trying to help in a good way, not trying to tell you what or what not to buy - but it's a big risk you are taking AND you're asking many questions that we cannot possibly provide every answer for, especially with just pictures.

Put it this way -
Would you buy a house over the Internet 600 miles away without any research or being able to go over it in person, top to bottom? I mean, same principal as buying a vehicle. :)

I would look else where.
I think the coolant low is a bit suspicious and the coolant tank is on the dirty side. Could be blown head gasket.

Could be a defect in the manufacturing. Overheated engine.
