Another one of these threads. Need help.

Dealer came up with an excellent solution to my issues for my lease, that being said the sales price they would NOT budge on was $34,833 and the car's MSRP is $36,540.

This doesn't feel like a good price. I kept bartering, no budge, wouldn't honor other dealers, nor truecaris this a good price? Thanks

If they dont know your trading anything in the 17 you may be able to squeak 4k off msrp but i would try to find a 16. I had a negative equity trade in and the 16 got me out of the upside down ness of my other mustang. If 17 is all thats left 4k should be max especially if they know your trading because they manipulate the sales numbers.

Unfortunately, it didn't seem like they wanted to find a 2016 for us. I asked, and nothing really happened about it. I was definitely confused in some areas, especially when they wouldn't budge and kept saying they were doing X-Plan on the cars. *Shrugs*

$34,800 is what they gave us. Supposed to be emailing us in the morning to see what is going on.

Sounds about right. I get X plan as well and I am getting a '17 GT/PP with nothing else for $34.2 before rebates. It is roughly $160 more than invoice.

I had to go to 2 different dealers the first wanted to give me a base gt non pp for 38k otd with my trade, went to atlanta metro area got a pp gt for 30500 then gave me 500 short of payoff for my trade so 33k otd msrp was 36980. If you dont feel comfortable with it shop more autotrader search for 16s and find high volume metro area dealer.

I shopped 7 or 8 dealerships between Tampa and Miami before finally getting a deal that I thought was good on my 15. I would say you're doing yourself a disservice if you're not at least shopping 3 dealerships. If one dealership doesn't want to locate a 16 for you, find another. I'm sure there are still plenty sitting on lots. As for the price of the 17, I can't really say. Haven't been in the market for two years, but if it doesn't feel right keep looking.

Easy enough to do by using the Ford.com search engine for Mustangs at dealers; you can still narrow the selection to 2016.

I just went yesterday and the price for a 17 base with PP was $36k msrp and ended up being $35k out the door... I'm going to wait a few months and see.

This is "employee d,x or whatever bs plan"

I am tempted to wait. I keep going back and forth between wanting it now, and waiting for my accident settlement. Which is X amount of months away. The longer I wait the better financial standing I am, but obviously I'd rather want now. That, and winter will come and take my fun away.

The payments wont start for 2 months and some will let you defer payments. I say get a 16 if you can find one left. They are going fast.

You can defer payments off the bat?

Also, how do you guys feel about buying a car, new with 100 miles? The one I am interested in has 100 miles.

Just curious

I wouldnt have a problem with that i always just look up and down it to check for dings chips before i sign, mine had that many miles on it and no problems. And yes banks will work with finance to set the start of your loan terms.

A dealer about 45 miles north of me offered me 31.3k for a GT PP. Lightning blue. My fiancé and I are going up Monday to give it a look. Hopefully I come home with it. :)
