Actually have not done a res delete. I like it as is...... For now:D
If you can't get enough of the sounds now, you should get it done. Especially if you like the pops and burbles on deceleration+gas. I'd say with res, it's just about 25% of the potential. If there's a member near you that has done it, you should definitely try to hear it!

Soft launching in 1st gear and then at around 6000rpm the rear tires suddenly break loose. If you haven't experienced it yet turn off traction control.

Last time I had something similar it was in a Grand a National but it started around 3000rpm.

Today I had my hardest launch yet... Clutched dump at 3500, floored it, shifted at 8200 into 2nd only to encounter a slight bog.

Could this be from the nannies kicking in? Was on a straight road with a dip...

Mine does that any time its below 85F out, even with the traction control on.

Agree - I did it 2 weeks ago - the sound now with resonators pulled is unmatched. I even caught the wife giggling as I blasted down a main road.

This ~$55k car has no business making the sounds that it does. Bless Ford.

Hope you don't mind a GT Mustang owner from Australia making a contribution and apologies if it has been mentioned but in our Owners Manual, it says we can move the wipers by hand till they're about vertical and then just move them away slightly to wash the front screen. Also allows the bonnet (hood) to open without fouling on the wipers.

By the way, we can't get enough of Mustang over here with the S550 being on sale for about 18 months. Unfortunately we can't order a RHD GT350 but hopefully, they'll come one day soon.

Enjoy your Shelby 350's gentlemen, they're a truly great car!

Thought it would be fun to start a thread related to all those little quirks with the GT350/R. I'll start with 2 of them....

1. One-wiper car washes.
2. Upon start-up, listening to the exhaust try to decide what mode it's in!

List some of your favorite quirks......
It's amazing how quickly I get used to the thumbnail sized side mirrors. When I get back into my DD, the side mirrors seem like a full length mirror hanging on the back of a closet door.

The only quirk I have is the entry and egress of the car. I finally figured out the easiest way is to always set the seat at max rear position to exit and enter easily. These RECAR seats are no joke for the track but damn that bolstering! lol

I don't have the Recaro seats and I'm not a big guy, 5' 10", around 170". I've found the easiest way to get in is to plant my butt in the seat then swing my legs in under the steering wheel.

Agreed - you have to move the seat back in order to get in and out of the Recaros. I'll have to make sure those seat rails are greased sufficiently.

Just can't get enuff!
I don't even complain about the GT350 Recaros... it can't compare to the ingress/egress awkwardness of Porsche's optional Carbon Fiber Sport Buckets which are fixed so it just moves fore/aft (it doesn't recline; it just tilts). But I love them... they're simply one of the best in a consumer high-performance car.

Now that will teach you contortionist maneuvers... :D

Is there a hole for a submarine belt on those?

In Sport Mode ... ALL THE TIME!
Definitely agree on getting in and out. I'm only a 33" waist and still get my ass caught between the wheel and the seat bolster! But I love it!!!!!!:headbang:
This is why I simply push the seat back all the way before attempting to exit the vehicle.

My contribution:

1. Am I the only one who washes his hands BEFORE getting into the car to prevent any oils from my hands from getting into the alcantara? I also try to touch only the leather bottom during light cruising (I had this same steering wheel on my GT 5.0 for 7 months, so it's not as bad as people think..)

2. Trying to accelerate on the highway: the literally LAUGHS at you!

3. The term "dip in the driveway" is a FOUR LETTER WORD!
