How about driving your gt350 to the track , doing 200+ laps in 2 days, driving home with a smile , and be covered under warranty the whole time.

Sorry couldn't resist!
Do US spec cars have a different warranty than those of Canadian Spec cars? I read in the GT350 supplement owners manual (Canadian car) and it specifically mentioned that warranty would be void if the vehicle was used in racing or competition conditions.

Hows about having your doors blown off by and GT that cost half the price... as it goes buy you hear the whining of a Whipple SC, and knowing that your 550 ponys are no match for the nearly 700 under the GTs hood....

sorry couldnt resist.
This is a GT350 forum - not the mass produced 5.0 that everyone and their cousin owns - thanks though.

Same warranty, racing means actual competitive racing, HPDE do not count as racing and are covered under warranty.

Ahhh gotcha! So, hypothetically speaking, attending events at a local drag strip or running your car on Street car nights should be covered as well? :D

Being too slow for practically 90% of the other traffic on the road, no matter how fast you drive over the speed limit.

Thought it would be fun to start a thread related to all those little quirks with the GT350/R. I'll start with 2 of them....

1. One-wiper car washes.
2. Upon start-up, listening to the exhaust try to decide what mode it's in!

List some of your favorite quirks......

There's a way around #2. Press the clutch in for a couple seconds before hitting the start button and the exhaust valves will go through their test cycle before you start the car. One of the speakers at the recent track tour at AMP gave us that tip.

I assume you've done the resonator delete. The sounds this car makes with just a simple resonator delete is just ridiculous. I can't get enough of sounds a hard deceleration + a bit of gas makes.
Actually have not done a res delete. I like it as is...... For now:D

My guess is from your mod list you probably have about 50k in your car. I paid MSRP for my 350. Hardly "twice" what you paid.

Backing into every spot for fear of bashing the lip on the curb

leaving 2 feet to the curb if you get lazy to back it into a spot
I've had 2 close calls with curbs lately, twice i thought i had room to spare when in fact i was about 1" from destroying the splitter.

Like you i will have to learn how to use the guide lines in the camera when backing into a parking spot.

After ddiving old 302 motors where the fun is between 3500-5000 ,and then driving this car where there is no fun below 4k it took a while to appreciate but once it's above 4 k it's just orgasmic on how this motor erupts to life .
