Has anyone done this where the markings on the tires are colored white like the old race cars?

You mean tire letter paint or stickers? White walls would be what you saw on the Cadillac.

Look up sticker city's web site or Instagram. Some guy her put white letters on his R a few months ago

I have not but I like the look of the white letters. Makes the car look even faster!

Not a fan. Makes the car look like a 70's car IMHO. To each his own.

I know some people that run the add-on letters. Not great if you change tires a lot because it is a painstaking process to put them on. It does look kinda cool on some cars.

Ground effects lights in the 90s, spinners in the 2000s, white tire letters in the 2010s. *sigh*

I had BFG's with the white lettering out on my old '88 5.0, looked great.
A lot of guys are having custom lettering done that's glued to the tires, a lot of DIY videos on YouTube about it. Personally, I think it's cool and I may do it.

I like to disassemble things.
Its a completely different wheel/tire/brakes/rotor and suspension setup.
Yet the hubs are the same and the rotor hat thickness is most likely very close to that of the SHW hat. You are then left with wheel hub thickness. None of which matters as the studs are a custom length anyway. The same company making caliper studs for me makes the wheel studs/lug nuts for Multimatic. The Track Attack GT350 cars are equipped with similar custom studs from the same company as well.

i don't hate it, to me it gives it somewhat of a race car look

That's probably because this racecar gives it a racecar look! Lol. It definitely works with all of the stickers all over it. I think it's a different story on a clean, "regular" car.

In all seriousness, I've seen some that I like, some not so much. I can't put my finger on what makes it look good vs bad for me. I know I wouldn't put them on my tires. I don't think it would look good on my car.
