Attached Are Some Air Fuel Charts And The Previous Dyno Before headers And Throttle Body And Larger Tensioner.

This New Dyno Graph Looks Like The Car Quits Making Hp After 6700 Rpm And The Old Dyno Chart Still Shows The Car Making Power After 7 K Rpm.

With out seeing the overall tune, looking at these graphs, you are going rich on your AFR on the top end. This could be due to timing or the fuel map. If it is timing related your torque curve will look noisy (lot of up and downs instead of smooth) If it is fuel related of course there are a number of levers to adjust fuel. Your second to the last graph shows the engine start to make some power when the AFR was closer to 11.6- 11.9 As the AFR drops you start to see the power curve tail off, and get a little erratic.

I would pull fuel out of the top end slowly and watch your temps and power curve. If your temps start to spike leave the fuel in and live with it as the cylinders do not take kindly to being overheated.

???????

See Pics Below. It Looks Like My Supercharger Intercooler Is Hooked Up Backwards. Would This Tell The Car That It Is Hot And Pull Timing? The Car Jumps To Over 100 Right When You Start It On A 80 Deg Day Raining. And Never Gets Under 115 While Driving.

What goes 100? The temp on the dash? If so, you understand that is the air inlet temp to the airbox. That is the MAF temp reading, not manifold air temp.

The temps sound normal.

If you have an aftermarket tune vs Roush and you installed the pigtail from the MAF to inlet air temp sensor, then the dash reading would show IAT post intercooler.

Your hoses are backwards.

I have not done an S550 but the ones I have done the intercooler circuit is a closed circuit with its own pump. Whle having it pump backwards would possibly loose some efficency not sure 8f it is enough to cause big problems. Maybe? If the S550 is not a closed cooling circuit and it uses car coolant then yea you would have some timing pulled.

It's a closed system so it would only be a marginal help to route it. The biggest would be a possible air bubble in the system, but this would show on the IAT2 as very hot temps, 200deg F range.

Looks like this guy had same problem as me. Had his hooked up backwards also. Seems like it made a difference when he changed.

420rw, 480? Not sure if I'm reading right, but to be that low, it would have to have an air pocket which basically boils the water and the IC works as a heat sink vs a cooler.

If you have a custom tune, what is the timing and IAT? That is going to tell you the power. Same as boost, if the intercooler has an issue, boost goes UP, not down so your boost vs pulley would be incorrect. This happens because air expands as it gets hotter. In this app, it would be 1-2psi higher then normal, with low power.

Flipping will help, but again, it's not a massive difference since it's a closed circuit. But, these are sensitive to timing and a little difference can make big changes if it can hold another 2-3deg timing. Only way to tell is to swap.

Bought the car used with 4K miles out of tennesee and never looked up the dealer or maby I did but just forgot. I hope flipping this helps beacuse this has been a pain in my ass and pocket book throwing parts at this thing to never see over 580 hp!!!
