Hey, if you were to ground the unit, would you be able to play video while in motion like how you would with after market kits? I did this in my 12 when I went with the ADS Maestro kit. Instead of letting it hook up to the e-brake, I just grounded it and I could watch porn while in motion...just wondering if this works with this unit?
Yep it does

Interesting new adapter by Samsung. This could solve a lot of issues for people wanting to hook up a Chromecast in the car. It's not exactly Android Auto, or Apple Car Play, but a $35 Chromecast on one of these Sintegrate Units, this Samsung Dongle, and boom, you are casting Spotify, YouTube, a Chrome Browser, to your car. All without jailbraking or 3rd party apps. Only on AT&T right now, but I read another story where these will make their way to other carriers eventually.

Just a thought.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the Raxiom and Moddication kits are the only way to get the sintegrate units in the US?

There are a few people who have them direct from Sintegrate, and there is also the TomTop option. Not entirely sure if TomTop is made by Sintegrate, or a knock off.

Sintegrate doesn't sell directly to individuals, they only sell wholesale.

Tomtop is the cheaper and inferior in quality and functionality to the Sintegrate units right?

I believe you can also obtain one from forum member X0AYHAM0X; an all around great guy who has helped out everyone on this and other threads, even though they got their units from Moddiction/Raxiom, etc.

They all look the same up close tbh, and TomTop was the first one around, the only difference for the most part is the new Sync 3 look.

I bought mine from him.

As for TomTop unit, it does not compare to Sintegrate. Don't believe it when it is said they are comparable. Not even close, you get what you pay for.

I'm headed to AT&T for an unrelated issue. I'm going to inquire about the Samsung unit and I'll report back. This may actually make me pull the trigger on an upgrade to the base unit. Plug in one of the many Apple TV/Roku/Chromecast devices in the HDMI and not have to worry about tethering to your phone.

There's a Samsung unit?

Edit: Duh! I didn't see the link first time, sorry.

It sounds like an amazing concept, the only issue is you're still stuck with that little 4" screen (unless, of course, you already have an 8" screen).

Please let us know what you find out, Jeremy, including the price of the unit. Sounds very interesting.
