This.

Really, it's kind of odd they didn't do exactly this, IMO....
I think it was price point. I think they started stripping things out to get under 50k. Id guess (based on nothing) they started with all the coolers and a better radio and maybe some of the other options like radar cruise etc.

I believe they did it just to build a couple at $49k
Marketting wanted to tout value. I'm not exactly sure why. I think they didn't want a bunch of sticker shock for the people that bought the last "track focused" Mustang, the Boss 302. Or maybe they wanted it accessible to regular GT buyers as well. So they made a model that was comparable in cost. They obviously felt like there would be a lot of "trading up" and there has been, but they might have been surprised by how many people wanted a loaded-up car instead of a stripped down base car. All of that posturing is ridiculous anyway given the limited availability of the car. It's not like it was going to flop if they didn't do it.

Regardless, it's hard to argue that Ford's first year plan for the GT350 wasn't fraught with bad/wrong decisions and that they probably need to let go or not subcontract to the people that did the market research for the vehicle.

I blame the person who desided it was best to remove the coolers from a track focused car that creates that much heat.

no one can really confirm if the solution FP is coming out next month will have factory backed warranty or not at this very moment, so I think it is a bit pre-mature to assume we will not get any warranty.

Exactly what he told me a week ago, and I'm still really pissed that the lower-cost "package" is a do-it-yourself, non-warranty solution. As much fun as this car is to drive, between the lousy paint and build quality and the cooling issues, I've just about had enough of the silliness with this car.

I think their marketing was inline with the industry I assume any marketing is BS. If the first time I priced the car it was 57K I mostly would of lost interest instantly

If it's not a 100% sourced solution from Ford; like is the current info coming out. Why would Ford warranty a fix using another companies pump?

And I'm ok with that. $57k is what I paid. As long is all the options I wanted kept me under $60K

The news we are getting sounds odd.

To lemers point if its not a 100% OEM and most likely installed by Ford it is most likely going to void warranties. Additionally that would mean you could install a Tranny cooler skip the diff cooler and fry your rear end and go to ford for a warranty claim.

Do ford performance product by default keep warranty coverage?

I paid 57K also but if I got there at the start I doubt I would of gotten interested enough to read the reviews find this site and then spend a month to find a dealer without ADM.

I still believe many of the people who bought a Tech Package and are complaining about cooling issues bought the wrong car (early buyers like Hack excepted)
I hope I get the special dispensation from you Spa2k and similar thinkers. Is a 6/11/15 order date soon enough? It was the first day my dealer said he could accept the order....:headbonk:

"YBTWC"? I say , who the hell are you to tell me that? How many times have you been called arrogant?

Your use of the word "complain" is smug and convenient for you but is not representative of the posts about lack of trans & diff coolers.

I just want Ford to provide warranty on the stuff they produced, mainly the Tremec tranny.
