In PA one time fee of 76.50. It used to be 35.00 18 months ago.

Aside from the regular registration fees and fees for specialty plates, there is a one time fee of $8 and $40 per year, prorated if partial year.

You have to buy the plates from myplates.com

You sell car, you take plates you bought them. Buy a new car you have option to transfer them. They are yours.

They run specials at times. But never buy one get one free.

I hear they knock another $50. off the three year plan if you can eat a 10lb steak while wearing a 10gal cowboy hat. Unfortunately the steak costs $50. and hat rental is $20.
