Is there an order that the cars get assigned to the ships? Or is it pot luck?

I don't suppose they want cars on the docks for too long so once you get there they seem to go on the next ship or if not then the one after.

Yes it is.

There will be few months before the end is the year where deliveries will be approaching 1000 for the month.

Earlier in the year that was closer to 400.

I was talking to a mate who works at one of the Sydney dealers and he said they had word from Ford they are planning on bringing in 10,000 Mustangs next year so 1,000 per month seems like they are planning on continuing the demand. I assume they are picking up some crossover fans from HSV now so maybe they are hoping the growth will continue.

hi all, i ordered 28 may 2016 as the inflow seems to have increased to about a 1000 a month anyone care to guess when i can expect my car, dealer was saying 12 month when i ordered but i am hoping for maybe feb.

What you guys think?

Depends if you ordered EB or GT. If you ordered a GT then I'd say no although in rare circumstances that can't be explained a few have been able to get it (it's rare) under 12 months. If you ordered an EB then Feb sounds like a reasonable target.

I ordered mine a day before you on the 27th of May this year and was originally told a July delivery date but that has since been changed to second quarter of next year, so April/May/June. I would happily take any of those months as it pretty much spot on a 12 month wait. February though would seem like the stuff of dreams.

5200 shipped by mid Aug 2016 = delivered by end Sep 2016
500/month
My order mid April (assume order number 7000)
1800 more than 5200 - so about 3.5 months from end Sep 2016 = mid January 2017 (9 months)
Big question is how many run out colours jumped the queue? For every 500 that pushes my delivery out by 1 month BUT Ford state an extra 2000 to be manufactured in last half of 2016 should more than negate the run out queue jumpers?
Something doesn't add up if my delivery takes 12 months or 10 months for that matter

Or am I missing something?

EB may be in over supply.My dealer is getting 3 EB ,stock to sell.Not sure if surplus orders maybe cancelations.
