Just curious if anyone striped the black off their EB or GT rims and planned on re-coating them another color (like the gunmetal).

Yes, please
I'm interested in someone who's done this too. Not a fan of black wheels, except on all black cars.

Husker has blasted and had his winter set (of stock PP wheels) for his LE powder coated silver. Not sure of thread but search by his name and it should be easy to find.

Can't see the stock PP wheels for winter use in the salt and slush. Too difficult to clean.

I have a set of nickel PP wheels. Had a thought of getting them polished out and then putting some semi slicks on them for track days.

F, who knows maybe I'll sell them and get some forged wheels instead. Well see.

VS Forged wheels if you do under 3K and light.

But a polished PP set of wheels would look sick as hell, Ii just cant get my head wrapped around how much they weigh.

I'm wondering as well. When I take the tires off I was gonna weigh them and see wzup. In some respects, the OEM wheel as a track wheel sounds good from a strength perspective but on the other it may be heavy.

We'll see. I'm on a quest to find a place to Polish them locally.
