What if 2 years down the road I want a GT350 manifold and a Paxton? Haha...

(Note: I have yet to meet my sugar momma to afford said things.)
I believe LMS mentioned in a previous thread that they can also transport a vehicle to their facility for installs and tuning. I'm not sure of anyone that has used this service, but I believe they offer it.

We'd love to have you!

The huge differences are that we are utilizing our own proprietary tuning software. So we do not rely upon anyone else for tuning support. When there are parameters that we wish to address we do it. If there is some testing that we want to do we do it! We do not have to ask for the tables to be made accessible or anything like that.

Secondly, our support is unrivaled, plain and simple. For example, you get a MyCal tuner when your car is stock. Then you decide,"Hey, I want that sweet Severe Windstorm CAI!" all that you have to do is submit a tune update form and we knock it out for your...FREE! The next month you want an EvenFlo thermostat, COOL! The next year headers, OK! Then you want the GT350/R intake manifold, DONE! Five years after that you decide to do GT350/R TB, mid-pipe and catback, WE HAVE YOU COVERED. And all of that support is included with the initial purchase of our tuner!
This is what I like. It speaks a lot about a brand. I've always had a thing for Livernois since being an active poster on SVTP for 13+ years though now I own my actual first Ford, I couldn't say I wouldn't be a little excited to have something tuned by you guys after seeing the many years of fast cars you've put down the track. After I stop pretending like I am not going to mod this car I will be hitting you guys up. :headbang::thumbsup::lol:

Thanks to the vendors for chiming in and other members likewise.

Well the decision for me is now even more difficult.

Tune updates: advantage Livernois

Guage with warning lights: advantage Lund

Datalogging: advantage Lund

Price: advantage Lund by $50

Power: advantage Livernois (it seems)

Familiarity: advantage Livernois (from my Pontiac G8 GXP days)

Livernois, can you PM me please?

on the power comment

lund has the quickest gts, and even the ecoboost for that matter in the country.

also the quickest gt350s, gt500s, etc...

when it comes to making power, lund is the dominant leader

:)

Yeah but then I pretty much have to get friggin' $1,200 half shafts on top of the OPG and crank sprock-a-rooney that I'd have to pony up for. And I'd have to sacrifice bracing (unless someone makes a strut tower brace that goes over that and still fits under the stock hood-a-reeno).

BTW, it's pronounced...

hhhh-Whipple.

So only mods on my GT are an Airaid intake elbow and an aFe dry panel filter.

Ford tune keeps the warranty and costs $399 + 1 hr labour so say $499.

Lund costs $549 and includes the nGauge for monitoring and datalogging but only does tune upgrades for 6 mos or so.

Livernois costs $599 but with no gauge but I've used them in the past and they give free tune upgrades as I understand it for life.

Ford states a 40 lb-ft increase in TQ at low rpms.

I'm not worried about the warranty to be honest as the Coyote is stout enough to handle a simple tune from a reputable shop.

Anyone with the Lund or Livernois care to comment on the TQ increase please? Is it similar to Ford's in your opinion (ie. it 'feels' like 40)? Any dyno's out there on either of these?

Decisions, decisions ...

LUND FTW! Give us a call at 561-753-8105 and we would be glad to help you out!
