I checked with FordOz on FB and essentially

"...we were only able to gift the owners of mustangs in the first 4 vessels that hit Australia."

Oh well, I'll just have to keep admiring my framed glossy print window sticker. It would have been a nice memento to have, but I guess that they had to draw the line somewhere.



Ford were on a hiding to nothing with this gesture - in days gone by nobody would have even realised that they missed out on something cool, but the internet reveals all secrets.

The fact that they stuffed up the letters, though, is somewhat amusing and a continuing reflection of the experiences of many through this drawn out process.

Yep, I also got the same response from Ford Australia. Only to owners of Mustangs from the first 4 vessels to arrive in Oz. I reckon that they should have given the gift to all of us or NOT bother at all!!

Does that mean that the first four boats were:

Fidelio
Aniara
Tarago

or does their list include the Tirranna, Titania and Tamesis?

That particular image was restricted to the owners of those cars on the vessels carrying the press cars only - plus an additional one for the 3AW radio presenter with the shit eating grin.
