2017 Roush Supercharger Tune Not Available

These posts continue to annoy me. If you have a superior product, let it stand on its own. You shouldn't need to add in these comments all the time on other vendors posts. Maybe it has happened, but I don't see Roush on here bashing your product when you have issues. And don't say you don't, because we have all read some now and then. I drive the Roush daily and am loving it. Could it make more power? Sure, but then you run into all sorts of other issues to deal with. Ok, rant over. Thanks for listening

Roush literally has a thread title saying "don't get whipped" a direct bash thread aimed at Whipple. And misleading as they claim 800+ hp... Which isn't rwhp. And then talk about all their awesome phases that don't work lol

Where is this thread? Here or another forum? With the little support us Roush guys get from them it is insulting to ne to think they would take the time to bash another vendor. Advice to Roush: Put your posting energy towards your customers. I wish it was not such an investment to S/C or I would sell this Roush blower today and drive to North Carolina for a free Whipple install.

That is a really old thread that has been discussed at length before.

Also, EVERYONE quotes HP @ the crank (this has also been thrashed thru in numerous threads)!

I'm not sure how saying the thread is old helps your argument. They were talking about the different phases way back then and they still can't get them right today LOL

On the Whipple site they very clearly state engine hp and then they show a dyno graph in rwhp... and they state rwhp all over the forums. Show me where Roush does that.

Show me someone who got a Lund tune for their Roush kit who thinks the Roush tune was better. The Roush kit is inferior and needs outside help to work well and make power

Coming down the home stretch with the Whipple installation. Keeping my fingers crossed that the tune comes in by the time I get out of work so I can pick it up today.

Can anyone suggest a good dyno in North East PA?

Well I just got back home with the car and I'm absolutely impressed with the Whipple. I'm no stranger to fast cars as I once daily drove a 2G DSM with 552 awhp. I can tell you, this is the quickest and smoothest car I have ever driven. The drive-ability with the provided Whipple tune makes driving the car so easy. Its like the smoothness of driving a stock 5.0 in snow/wet mode, but with the response of track mode, and the power....oh my. I had my installer take me for a quick rip to see what to expect, and he had the car stepping out between the 2nd to the 3rd shift and I couldn't stop smiling.

I never had the opportunity to drive the car with a functional Roush supercharger, but can't imagine it being any better than what I have now. I honestly always wanted a Whipple but went with the Roush originally due to being able to wrap it into the financing. I'm glad fate had worked out to be able to get the Roush swapped out for the stage 2 Whipple.

Nonetheless, here are some pictures. Big shout out to Dustin @ Whipple for making this happen. I also highly recommend Jason Kilduff over at Coccia Ford for Whipple installs for anyone in need of one within North East PA.

Yes, Whipple seems to always find his way into other vendor threads to try and sell his product. He does that on just about all Mustang forums. But they make a good product, so I guess there's that.
