(Ordered a 2017 GT Premium, Race Red, 6-speed manual, 19" dark stainless wheels, nav on July 1)

How long did it take everyone's car to get to them? My CA is finally being built on the 26th. Ordered mid April. I figured it'd be a first ordered first built sort of thing but guess not.

Ordered May 2nd and took delivery July 1st.

I will tell you it does not get any easier waiting. It in fact, gets worse.

I've waited since 2014 when the S550 came out, I think I can wait another month or two. All about perspective!:headbonk::headbonk:

I will tell you it does not get any easier waiting. It in fact, gets worse.

You ain't kidding. I've been waiting nearly 2 months. Its been painful. It's pissing my girlfriend off too. Though the wait isn't whats getting to her, its me continuing to talk about it almost every day, as she made clear in no uncertain terms when she said something to the effect of, f**k your stupid car, I don't care about it, I'm tired of hearing about it, and don't even really care if I ever ride in it, I'm already starting to hate it. :shrug:

She was supportive of me getting it until the other day when those comments were made in the heat of an argument about having a kid. Long story short as to prevent hijacking the thread and putting all kinds of personal details on the web, she has one from a previous relationship and wants another, whereas at this point in time, I do not. This happens from time to time. A while ago it was my "f**king truck," then later on it was my "f**king race car." Relationships are never easy...

I'm currently driving a black 2014 v6 Mustang convertible. I order a 2017 race car red California Special GT fully loaded on June 21 at my local dealership. I got my VIN on July 8 and can't wait to get it. It can't get here soon enough. The dealership estimated delivery around my birthday which would be heck of a good birthday present.
