2017 Mustang Orders Placed Thread (Vote/Share Here)

Annnnd my trunk needs to be repainted. Chips on the lip near the top by the quarter panel. Only thing really wrong with the body other then the bumper tabs/corners tucked under a bit too far near the quarter. Ill be watching for paint runs, fish eye, color match, overspray and heavy orange peel. The color match should be easy since its new...i hope.

Good thing I ordered mine when I did then. Mine now has a tentative build date of 7-27.

Deysha informed me that the COTUS sites will no longer work, and that the correct tracking site now is http://www.ordertracking.ford.com/. This still doesn't work for me though.

Doesn't work for me either. I got an update from Deysha though. My car is being built right now and will be completed tomm. The ETA to get it to the dealer is 8/6 though. Thats right, freakin 4 weeks :(

I'm in the same boat, it's getting finished up tomorrow, than the wait.....

My tentative build date was pushed out till the 20th. Looks like I am going the full length of wait. I did get my Vin on 6/24. Taking forever.

I guess just keep checking for my updates since it looks like everything for you is happening about a week after me. With any luck, once I get mine, you should only have 1 more week to wait.

That is a long time to sit after production. I'm gonna be pissed if I have a similar wait after production. I wonder if there is some sort of quality hold at the factory that pushed yours out so far. I work in manufacturing and I know sometimes our products will get set aside in the warehouse to get reworked for quality issues. If that is the case hopefully they get it sorted out effectively. I noticed you are in Denver, I wonder how much of that has to do with your delivery date being out so far. You are pretty far from the factory, and will more than likely be coming by rail. Which that could take a bit of extra time. Luckily for me I am less than 2 hours from Flat Rock and mine will be coming by truck, so hopefully I have a shorter wait time after it's built.

For what its worth, I have a 2014 Dodge Dart GT, and I had a like.. grain the size of a pea in my trunk, and they warrantied it, and I got to choose my bodyshop, and I brought it in, and they sanded, and resprayed. This was about a week after ownership.

You were not able to tell when they were completed. It was perfect.

Placed my order for an Oxford White GT Premium with Recaros and Nav on June 30th. They said about 10-12 weeks maximum but could be as soon as 8-10. I can't wait! I don't exactly want summer to fly by but I want the car :(

For what its worth, I have a 2014 Dodge Dart GT, and I had a like.. grain the size of a pea in my trunk, and they warrantied it, and I got to choose my bodyshop, and I brought it in, and they sanded, and resprayed. This was about a week after ownership.

You were not able to tell when they were completed. It was perfect.

Oh they are fixing it. I just am worried where its at they will have to blend. Its a brand new car. Its stupid. Fingers crossed it doesnt and they have a good painter so they dont blend it.

I will tell you it does not get any easier waiting. It in fact, gets worse.
