CJPP delivery time - experience?

For those of you who have ordered via CJPP, how long did the delivery take?

I ordered on 07-07, and got a dispatch notice <8hrs (very good), but the tracking info has not updated since then.

4 days later and the package is still 'awaiting routing' in Columbus Ohio.

If this is normal and matches others experience, then fine.

If not, I have to break out my customer service interrogation Fu.... :eyebulge:

I had a Cat back exhaust arrive in 2 days, ok I paid the highest postage you can, had a smallish parcel arrive the other day and didn't pay the highest postage and it took alittle over a week.

I paid for the 'tax/duty in advance' option, which was the most expensive (for obvious reasons)... is that the one you used, or did you choose to pay the duties on delivery?

I paid the Tax/Duty paid in advance one like you, give it till the end of the week as we've just had the weekend as well.

CJ's have been good in my experience, yes tracking seems to not update from awaiting routing, packages arrives within a period of 2 days to 7 days. Use there online customer service chat, always been helpful in cases I've needed to contact them.

Same as others, about a week on the prepaid option and always quicker than I expected. Tracking suddenly wakes up sometimes and can lag the parcel significantly.

EDIT - CJPP's eBay pages show them 'away' until the 18th; not sure what that means but can't imagine they have a shutdown

I find this is fairly normal. Next thing you know the shipment will appear in your country.
I always take the International Standard Parcel option if available which is an end-to-end pre-paid option. In my experience its not the most expensive and despite suggesting a 30 day turnaround things normally appear in around 8 days.

That would suck! There was nothing on the website at the time of ordering.

Only item i've ordered from them took nearly 2 weeks

I ordered roush axleback from them on a monday and it was delivered on the friday,I paid the standard rate for delivery.I contacted UPS on the thursday and paid the tax in advance .Pretty good I would say.

I ordered from them last week and one item was on backorder. They got the item last friday and shipped it. I see that the package is now at Stansted. Do I need to contact them (UPS) to pay the taxes and duties or will they send me an email?

You can pay by phone etc the day before delivery as I did or I believe you can also pay the UPS driver assuming you are there to accept,best ring the UK call centre to check.I don't think they email you first.
