If we did get someone else to tune the car would it pass inspection when hooked to OBD2?
It's possible, if your in a state that checks the monitors, then all of them would need to pass. I've only seen a few aftermarket tunes pass but it is certainly possible. If it's just a tail pipe test, it would probably pass. If your state follows CARB laws, it would be illegal either way.

Throw in a complimentary power train warranty and I'd be the first to switch!
Nothing is ever complimentary. With that being said would you rather have a new car you cannot drive for 6 months or a new car with a better tune you can drive right now?

In my case, the dealer is in the process of taking the supercharger off and I'm taking delivery tomorrow. When the tune becomes available, they will reinstall it and provide me with a rental for the 2 days they have the car.

However, I'm going to speak with them tomorrow about possibly returning the Roush and replacing it with a Whipple. I'll keep everyone posted with how I make out.

I'd just go for a refund on the Roush, and drive the car NA until at least your first oil change.

I would love to work with Lebanon and solve this issue, it's literally very easy, we are similar in pricing but have far better options and they don't have to wait.

PM me contact info and I'll work on it :) Lot of these places just don't know of other options, it usually takes customers to inform them, "hey, there are better options out there"

Roush 727 only warranties Roush parts:

http://www.roushperformance.com/parts/2015-2016-Ford-Mustang-Supercharger-Phase-2-727-HP.html
3-Year/36,000 Mile ROUSH parts only limited warranty

Best to make sure the car is solid before going this direction.
Most definitely !!! I have both warranties & am still getting d*cked around with the vibration issue on my car. To the point I have filed to Lemon Law it .
The car has been in the dealers hands for near 50% of the time I've owned it :tsk:

I would be surprised if a lemon law is successful with a supercharger.

Probably best to keep the car NA for at least a year, or however long the states lemon law is good for and then shop power adders.

In FL anything 'dealer or authorized agent installed' is elligible, they have to include it in the buy-back.
