Haven't heard a Corsa in the wild yet, so no comparison, but as everyone is saying the video's don't do the systems justice, the Borla sounds much better in person than on the video, sound is much deeper and no where near as raspy.:D
Totally agree with you, I thought the Borla S Type was going to be too raspy going by what others in the US have said but it really isn't, it's even deeper than the Ford Racing Sport made by Borla.

Sorry if I'm missed it elsewhere in the thread, but has anyone got (or looked into) the MBRP Street catback? Lethal have 20% off it at the moment making it around 700 aud.

Mine will be going to Lillford Exhausts at Maitland (Newcastle, Australia). Will remove the resinator and make his own system to suit using an H pipe. He does a magnificent job and much cheaper than just buying an already made one from the States.

I've got the mbrp street and am pretty happy with it. It cost me about $1250 landed to my door. Nice deep tone and good volume.

Do you know if this is within the legal sound limits?

I like the look of the Roush quad tips and also the sound but I don't necessarily like the all black replacement valance that goes on to fit the quad tips.

What's your opinion on it so far?
The plan was to get the atak and if it was too loud or sounded wrong pull apart the mufflers and customise them. went for 2.5 pipes instead of 3, not interested in FI

-Cold starts are going to be an issue... For the neighbours to deal with

-Idle sounds little bit louder than stock but nothing untoward

-Light throttle is fine for driving around suburbs, wouldn't want to be in the CBD a lot with it though. Wouldn't recommend for an auto box either

- No drone on freeway

-Sounds awesome under full load, not too loud in the cabin

-Super easy to install

Honestly not as loud or bad as I expected to be. Have driven worse and been fine Police and EPA wise. Different sound to the Corsa but pretty similar volume wise.

All in all will keep it like this for a while but when Mustangs are everywhere like SS's will probably change mufflers to something a little more everyday friendly but until then stuff it

EDIT - It really likes tunnels, and enclosed carparks.

I have the Ford racing valance & Borla system, very easy to install, fantastic sound, however rather expensive. :)
Did you get the touring or the sport and how much louder is it over the stock?

:headbang:Fitted the touring, excellent sound, true muscle car sound!
what would you guess the increase in sound is, 50% increase from stock or more, any idea if its legal sound level in oz?

Is that AUD or USD? Who did you order it through?

I suggest 50% louder, purchased from the states, however paid a ridiculous amount of freight, import duty & of course Gst, all up $4700. Original price if I remember was $1600 then all the add on's. But the valance looks fantastic. If I remember right I purchased via good old eBay. By the way I only purchased the exhaust from the cat back. I have a Benz Cls Amg & the sound from the mustang is awesome compared to the Amg but I dear not change the Amg exhaust to similar, my wife would go through the roof.
