I am having a hard time reading that chart as it is small and clicking on it brings me to a download/upload site instead of the image, if I am reading the chart say in metrics is that reading around 306 KW and 560 NM?

Sorry I am trying to understand your English.

You are trying to find a tuner for your Ecoboost, and some have claimed 330hp and 536nm. You are looking for recommendations for parts such as intakes. A tuner told you that the intercooler is at maximum capacity (overheated). I think I understand.

http://www.cobbtuning.com/ford-mustang-ecoboost-stage-power-packages/

please check out Cobb website. Stage 2 is intercooler change and intake change. You can use Cobb repro or you can get local tuner to repro.

The factory intake air box works very well, you don't need to change that. It works well with a k & n replacement or green air filter installed in it, those filters just drop right in as a replacement . The intercooler absolutely should be changed, especially in your hot climate. I prefer the Wagner tuning intercooler, they are a German company, you can Google them or possibly contact UPR products, they have a sale on them right now as well. Just those two parts and a good tune will help the power and torque very much.

Hi everyone! I took a ride yesterday with cpelo, as he already reported, what the tuner did is to flash the ECU through OBD port re-mapping the original stock parameters (although we do not know which particular ones). The most significant change is that engine is more responsive right now and steep while driving in normal mode. In sport mode, changes are not so noticeable if you compare it with stock, even so, you may perceive some improvement.

Results of the pull posted by Carlos after the flash are in metrics (330hp and 532.6 Nm, which is 4744 lbs/in).

Tuner told him before the flash that it coud get about 350 hp and 550 Nm (4867 lbs/in). Since weather in Spain is hot right now and the stock IC has obvius cooling limitations, seems hard to get better numbers just with a flash. Said this, the very first pull done before flashing resulted in just 260 HP, which is quite low compared with the official 314 HP announced by Ford in EU.

Guys, do you think that warm weather conditions (about 90F) are enough to imply a decrease in perfomance in almost 50 HP compared to official figures or do u think that Ford has fooled us in EU with the numbers??

Both Carlos and myself are suspicious about why our Eco-Ponys do not reach the promised 314 HP stock power.

Automobile manufacturers provide crank hp and not wheel hp which is the figure you get from a dyno. 260 wheel horsepower is good for a stock EcoBoost Mustang.

So this is what Cobb claims for stock, stage1 (no hardware change I think), and stage 2 (intercooler change, intake change, more boost). Most important is horsepower and torque change instead of actual number. This is basically 98RON fuel.

265-->335hp with no hardware change seems like very big change.

Sure, but seems really odd a deviation of more than 50hp, I woud expect to lose no more than 20 or 30hp in the worst of cases. 50hp is almost a 20% of the overall power, but ayway I understand this may be deemed as "normal".
