Hey guys... I have had the HO Procharger kit on for a few weeks now and am loving it. Running the boost + module with the Ngauge. When I was data logging I noticed a loss of boost after the car was warmed up (very hot in some cases). When the car is first started and engine gets up to temp I am running 9.5 psi of boost st 7250 rpm. After about 45 mins and the car is much warmer I see that number drop to 8.2 +/-. I assume that is due to belt slippage...hotter temps, belt expands, not as tight, slippage under max load. I am now out of adjustment on the take-up bracket/pulley on the passenger side. Want to see a couple of things. Has anyone else experienced this? And what belt are you running? I am running the Gates # KO61066.

Usually boost numbers would go up, with a hot engine. (if there was slippage)
Since the belts get a little more sticky, and when things expand they get tighter.... but if the belt needs to be smaller due to maxing out the tensioner, that could be the issue.

Good to know...I had that backwards. Is that the correct gates belt that crosses over from the kit belt? Also what else could cause the reduction if belt is not slipping?

Changes in cam timing in the tune for temp variations.
When those cams move, it drastically effects boost level.

Just throwing out possible ideas.

If it was belt slip to that degree, you would have a MASSSSIVE amount of belt dust around the blower pulley/headunit gear case.

Where are you getting your boost numbers from ? aftermarket gauge or factory gauge ? My dash gauge no longer works right ... At full boost my gauge only reads 3 1/2 pounds of boost now ...I have no clue why it took a dump but it did ..

I purchased the boost + module from Lund. The module has a vacuum line that runs to it then plugs in electrically to the back of the Ngauge. I tee'd it directly into the vacuum line going to the proflow valve. Running the 3.6" pulley. Right at 9.5 at 7250rpm when car hasn't ran for a long period and then drops down to 8.2ish when car has been running.
The explanation that ProChargerTECH gave makes some sense. It has been God awful hot ... abnormally hot...here in the Midwest with high RH as well. My car gets into the 210-220 head temp range and 200-210 coolant temp range with the 170 stat. First time I have seen those temps since buying car new. Never saw them after the 170 stat install. I know its in the "safe" zone but that would explain some things with the VCT.

I don't know the exact size. But with a 3.60" pulley you are going to want a really really really snug belt, and make sure that you are really putting some tension in that stock tensioner with the manual one we supply. (bottom that stock one out, and put some snug in the belt)

I'm not having any belt slip with the 3.50 pulley and I'm using the belt for the 3.70 pulley ( came with the kit ) ...Procharger did send me a smaller belt for the 3.50 pulley but I didn't install it yet.. I see no need to change it at this point.. I'll save it for a spare for now ... If you want the belt numbers just let me know ..
