Can I run a 275 with a 20x8.5 in the front without having to use spacers? Base model GT 2016

So should I do 265???the bigger issue is, that a 275 is too large a tire for an 8.5" wheel
They don't have a 9 in the rim I want... Do you have any rubbing or steering issues with 275 in the front?I did 20x9 up front with 275's
Any reason you did not go with 9.5 fronts?I am running a 20x8.5 with a 275 and haven't had any issues.
nope, its perfectThey don't have a 9 in the rim I want... Do you have any rubbing or steering issues with 275 in the front?
so a 20x10 with 275/35/20 FRONT on a stock height stock everything mustang GT 2016 base model would be okay, no rubbing at all?I can confirm 275 up fronts work well for 20x10 no rubbing issues. So yes, you can fit 275 up front. You should be more concerned with the 8.5 and maybe the offset.
Why did you go with two different sized wheels? If you had 4 the same, you could rotate them.My car has 20x8.5 F and 20x10 R and 275/35/20 Conti. DWS 06's on all corners and it is perfect.
I bought the tires to replace the summer only P-Zero's and at the time, 275/35/20 was the closest thing to the factory 265/35/20 that came on the car. I had them mounted to the factory foundry 20" wheels. I got the wheels a couple months later, and like I stated in the earlier thread, LMR stated that the 20x10" wheels should not be mounted in the front. Because of this, I got the staggered wheel set that they sell. I've actually been thinking about trying to mount the 10" wheel in the front to see if it fits, and ordering 2 more 10" wheels so I can go back to a square setup. The 10" wheel is actually a little lighter, but don't know if the ET 42 will allow it to clear the brakes. Why did you go with two different sized wheels? If you had 4 the same, you could rotate them.
