On the positive side, I just received confirmation on insurance on my car from midnight tonight.

Just checked mine and it says the same. Exciting! Have emailed Stacey again asking her to check again for me. Thanks for the heads up.

Dealer also replied to yesterday's email. He sent me a form to fill out for the finance which I have just sent back.
Feel a bit better about it all today.

Just sent them an email asking them to get it to a dealer in Liverpool and I will go and pick it up from there. Now waiting for a response.

No reply yet I'm guessing? My moneys on an outright 'no'. God knows what it'd do to their logistics :doh:

correct, no response. Yes it would be a nice drive home but I don't expect it to happen, will have to wait and see if there is any movement next week.

Just PM'd FordUK on Facebook (open daytime weekends) all my details asking for an explanation on why Ford US managed to ship my car to the docks in 9 days across mainland USA with a Factory pumping out thousands of cars and FordUK can't manage to do the same with 200 cars, 200 miles using a few lorrys.

Awaiting an automated reply............. ;)

Dropped off my number plates and V750 to dealer in Inverness, updated him on the car heading to southampton today , he informed me that they have a transporter heading up next week so he is trying to get my car on it, hopefully Dan's car too ).

"Thanks for getting in touch, great choice with the Mustang all updates on the delivery if your new Ford Mustang will be sent directly to your ordering dealership here we do not have access to that information so I would not be able to chase if here sorry.

Your local Ford dealership will have all the most up to date information on its delivery, we can certainly call them and ask they check this out and come back to you Colin?"

My reply..............

"Wouldn't bother thanks. Last information we had from them was that delivery was put back to 7th July as shown on Vista. No-one knows a thing. I could probably walk up to Liverpool & back from here in Oxfordshire to ask the dock workers direct quicker than I get my car. Sorry, just very, very frustrated"
