"But I will chase them up again on Thursday for update – and let you know I have put your car on a priority"

Just received a call, my car will be with them tomorrow!!!

She is just getting a time slot from the company doing the "extras" on mine but it's looking like mid week, next week for pick up.

Just done my 7 day free insurance with them.

Good news - is this really a 6 month order to delivery. Is that some kind of record or have i got half the story only !

It was done as a VIP build due to an issue I had with a previous order/dealer.

Think we're going to have to start a new thread (& sticky it) listing the helpful Dealers in the UK. Ones that are willing to prioritise deliveries for starters. I know that if I do change it in three years, I'm willing to travel to get the service.

The horses are nowhere to be seen, repeat, the horses are nowhere to be seen


Not sure whether that's good or not but not a single pony car in sight. Rakes of F types and Edges littered everywhere though. Mooched up and down on foot peering through the fence

Let's hope that they've all left??!!

My Salesman has buggered off on holiday until Tuesday so I'm clueless until then. At least I have this little chink of positivity to cling onto over the weekend!!

Wow! So my car was on The Fedora too but I've been away for the weekend and had lost my phone and been unable to chase. Got home 6pm tonight and checked my email.

Hi Guys I've been lurking in the background watching these posts. I ordered in Jan and my car came over on the fedora. Dealer called me today to say that car is so n Liverpool and being delivered tomorrow

Interesting that they contacted you, means that they're system has updated. Did they give you an estimated date for delivery?

I've still been told the week ending 25th but even the dealers taking that with a pinch of salt. I'm going in tomorrow to sort finances so I'm ready regardless

Trouble is, my Dealer is out tomorrow, back on Thursday & then annual until Tuesday. He's been trying to contact Gowrings for two days with reply. If the car is delivered tomorrow or Thursday, I probably won't even find out
Then he's Gotta get it delivered to my Town dealer & then get prepared for handover. I could take another week even if it arrives now!

Crikey, I wish I'd just popped over to Oxford & ordered direct. Live n learn
