As some of you know there is nothing on the outside of the GT350R to distinguish it from the regular GT350 except the small badge/emblem on the trunk and the inside badge on the passenger side. To me, that's kind of a slap in the face due to the fact we pay more for the GT350R model then the normal GT350. I have come up with a solution. I am going to make these in billet, but I can also print them in just about any color. To my knowledge, there is currently nobody that has or makes this emblem. Would anyone be interested in one for each side of the car? Would definitely set you apart from the normal GT350!

Looks pretty cool. I might be interested, mostly as I will probably need new emblems after wrapping the fenders.

Any idea what the billet ones will cost?

The big-ass wing kinda checks the 'I have an R' box for me.

Lol, that's what I was thinking, as well as the front splitter, the red badges and the wheels.

And no back seat!!! but I hear some are installing them anyway????

What sort of value do you put on a specialty vehicle with Bogus badges?? Hey, maybe I'll get one to go with my GT 350R steering wheel!! Still think they'll look sweet in Billet !!

I love my R just the way it is. As mentioned above...the big wing and the CF wheels are a great give away to anyone in the know.

Personally, adding badges not meant by the manufacturer seems a bit cheesy to me. People who add "SHELBY" lettering or additional stickers just seem like they are screaming for attention.

-I just saw a ZR1 in the local dealer that had "638 HP" in chrome badging on the hood. I just thought it was the most awful thing I have seen in years. So DAMN cheesy!!!

Not trying to offend, I know your idea took time to build. Some people may love this idea, but my opinion is that it is over-baked.

I wish you well. Again, not trying to offend. I think you have a great skill set and made a nice design-just not my cup of tea. Good luck to you Sir.

Not quite sure yet. I haven't even looked into cost for the billet yet. I just wanted to see if anyone else would be interested. I'm going to have at least two sets made up. One for my self, and one for another friend with a GT350R.

No its all good my friend. I agree with you on the people that try and put lettering or a badge on just for attention. Especially when its not even that model car! But actually I can't take credit for the idea. It was a friend that came to me because the didn't like the fact the badge did not reflect the R. There are not a lot of GT350R's here in FL, or for that matter in South Florida, so when you pull next to another GT350 at a light, or someone is checking out your car at the light, there is nothing badge wise that says it the race version. Most people that are interested in a car look directly on the side or back for what model. When they look at yours its just a regular GT350 with bigger tires/wing. They don't know the difference like we all do.

I actually like the fact that the R version is not obvious (Other than the huge wing, CF wheels, Red Stripe, Red Badges, etc...:) ) to non-enthusiasts. IF Ford had done the badges from the factory, I would not have ripped them off! I think your design looks clean and not over the top.

I simply don't care if someone thinks I am driving a Base GT350, a Mustang GT, a Mustang V6, or an R. I LOVE this car. I feel BLESSED to have it.

Your design is clean. If Ford had it on our cars from the factory, I would have displayed it proudly. Extra Flash is just not for me. Looks good though, would love to see a picture of it on the car.

Its nice of you to offer. I'm not in the market, but if I was, I'd like just an R about 1.5 X the size of the 350 lettering on the side and then just put it underneath or something to that degree. Billet black anodized with inscribed R.

You could just add one of these after the GT350 logo on the side:

I hear these add 10 horsepower too! :p
