AVALANCHE GRAY GT350/R Thread

Dang this color must not photo well. Am I the only one who thinks this is not a good color? I plan on seeing one in person when it arrives at my local dealership.

I can see what you mean. Depends on the photo... I went back and forth on it for quite a bit. Everyone here says they love it in person though, and I can envision it and appreciate that it's unique. Ultimately ordered my in AG without ever having seen it in person.

I was one of those that thought it would be too much like primer. After seeing it in person at the Track Attack it became my #1 choice for 2016 colors.

I did the same when I orderd my16 AG not have seen the color Bossing said that I would not be disappointed in the color, and I'm glad that I went with AG.....

I may be the exception, but I love the AG color more on a cloudy day than sunny days. When I saw the AG in person, it was raining, and the AG color really stood out.

When will yours be arriving, I am also in SOCAL.
I am waiting for mine, AG with black stripes to be delivered in the next 2 weeks from KS.

Yes, I can confirm there are 3 new colors for the 2017 F150 Raptor, White, Black, and Avalanche Grey. My GT350 is going to look so BADASS on a trailer right behind a new Raptor.

saw an AG / white stripe tech pack car at Canepa's cars and coffee this morning...it looked great. There was also a white R, no stripes, black roof...it also looked great. lots of cool cars out there for sure.

I got a 2017 and am still waiting on a build date, unfortunately I do have a priority 10 order, and the Ford reps on this forum (thank you Tricia and Deysha!) have confirmed that my order is in the system and should be picked up the next "few weeks or months"... so I wait with bated breath, trying hard not to ask for updates too often.

2 weeks? I can't wait to be in your shoes! You're just about there, congrats man :cheers: Were you able to utilize Ford courtesy drop ship to a local dealer or are you having it privately shipped?

Hmmm, I wondering if Tricia and Deysha would be able to look into my order with a Ford dealer who says they aren't getting a R after they assured me, without a doubt, that they were being allocated one by their Ford Rep.

Worth a shot - at a minimum it'll be interesting see what they can find out. Total bummer what you went through... did you find another R yet?
