Naming your car after a girl is tradition. You love looking at her, touching her, being around her... you love taking care of her and spoiling her with baths and gifts... and you both love it when you're inside her, pressing her buttons and making her scream.

Now replace all the hers with 'him' and tell me what gender you'd rather your car be.

We can't decide, but the car is mean looking, and you would not laugh at it

Thanks. I really enjoyed modding her; mostly myself. And of course riding her.

Had her for about five years and had enough close calls with idiot drivers that I decided it was time to part with her. I still miss her but the Mustang satisfies my need for a fast, good looking ride. :cheers:

The Titan was mine too. Went from the truck to a G37s, and then the Mustang. Best car I've purchased. The excitment factor rivals the Sportster, and it's a whole lot safer.

Get it up on a jacks or ramps. Then go underneath, and stick your hand up where the differential is, get nice and deep in there. If you feel two hard lumps, it's a male. If it's smooth, it's a female.

My wife, who was particularly unhelpful, suggested that the pony puddle lights were a bit "light in the loafers" and then suggested Ennis or Jack - the two leads in Brokeback Mountain. And I have to say that was reasonably funny:lol:. Then she said, if it is a girl, it was fairly manly and so something like Bertha, or Martina. She is just busting my chops, and I hope know one is offended.

I told her I was disappointed. The thread was not about the car's sexuality, but rather gender and it was not about names - that comes after, unless we go with Pat! The general consensus seems to be female so I am going to pick an appropriate name. I will worry about its sexuality once I find it in bed with another car.:doh:

The name is KITT, as suggested by a friend after I described how it "talks".
As you may know KITT is a car with a man's voice, from the goofy show "Knight Rider".
I never intended to name it.

My service manager calls it a "he", I lean towards "she", but it changes sometimes.

Maybe I should rename it Caitlyn?
