My dealer said he's still waiting So I don't know what's going on

Ordered 4/30/16. Called and spoke to my salesman a few minutes ago. Got my vin and build day is scheduled for 6/20/16

Some time in the last week of june because of my scheduled build date. I was told 6-8wks until it arrives. 6/20/16 is 7 weeks already. Ordered 4/30/16

How did you get your info so quickly? I placed my order on 4/28 in the AM.

Quickly? There are people in this thread that ordered a week after me and had their vin after one week. They also have scheduled build dates before me. How that happened i couldn't tell you. Especially considering i got the best priority number the dealer can assign. I finally gave up on ford services getting me an answer. I called my salesman this morning and got my info from him.

my dealer just types in the order number in the computer and it said the build date and vin for it. the first few weeks it just said unscheduled-clean. i usually go see them once a week, i have a great dealer ive used for a while and they said they can look it up anytime!

The sales manger who placed my order told me he wouldn't get a VIN until Thursday. I was just looking at the order confirmation and I got Priority 19. From what I read in past threads that is not a great number correct?

I got a priority of 10. Look how long it took me. 10 is the lowest a dealer supposedly can assign. 19 is at least better then 20.

True story. I've waited a year and a half, I can wait a little longer.

ours was also ordered as a stock order, not a special order, that way it should arrive sooner. they ordered it the way we wanted it, it just wont say special order on the window sticker. i can live with that!

Im cool with waiting the full 8 weeks because by the time shows up ill be able to pay for the car in full. I just wanted a vin. It was maddening because i had ordered before others but has nothing to show for it. :lol:

My order on 05/06 had a priority of 30 and last week (05/23) I got the VIN and the priority area was blank on the order.
