I have used Affordable Muffler off dairy ashford (south of I-10) for years. Their website is a total 1990's joke, but they are good people. I can't tell you how many times the owner has refused to bill me for minor work, I usually just tip his worker when that happens.

I used to live out that way and now I'm on the NW side. It's a bit of a trek, but I still go over there. I get why you'd want something closer though.

You don't need a muffler shop to install a cat back. Are you on the Houston S550 Facebook page? They have several guys that will get it done for you economically. Unless you want all the joints welded.

What side of Houston?

East side and you have any suggestions let me know but right now the Houston s550 Facebook sounds like a good choice

There is a place in Kemah called S&S Muffler that is supposed to do good work.
I've never used them but have friends that have.
