Differences in Options on MY17

Met with dealer today and have a quote on a MY17. Just to make sure I am understanding this correctly, there is no longer a Tech Pack or Track Pack. Trans and diff coolers as well as MagneRide and aluminum tower brace is now standard equipment. Optional packages are Electronics and Convenience. A couple of other single options available as well such as painted black roof, over the top racing stripe and two paint colors. I won't bother detailing what each of the packages includes unless someone wants me to but mainly just wanting to know from others who have already ordered a MY17 if this is the way they saw it too.

I think you're asking if there's a big difference between MY16 and MY17. In terms of what was available, they're virtually the same car, but now since the Track package is standard, you can get a more optioned up vehicle if you desire both of what was in the Tech and Track packages.

The only "new" thing is the "Soft door rollover" if you get either Electronics or Convenience packages. I think this is something that they're just copying from the Camaro...

It's soft touch plastic on the top of the door instead of the hard plastic.

I'm not sure, but the '16 Mustang order guide doesn't mention such a thing. It just says "Premium Door Trim", whatever that means.
