Wheel/Tire Recommendation for Budget

Yes. Same wet/dry capabilities but quieter. The NT555G2's are more traditional looking but a bit louder. The Invo's are really goofy looking tread pattern but dead quiet. I will say they don't track as straight as, say, a Continental summer tire with a bunch of solid ribs. I'd bet the NT555G2's do a better job of providing that "on center" feel. Invo is a good tire, I would not shy from it.

Noise is irrelevant to me. The Gisbon exhaust I have on this thing is so loud that I pretty much can't even hear radio when at like half throttle. Grip, handling, roll racing, and launching... those matter. That, and price.

NT555G2 vs. Invo - according to my research seem to have similar/same grip. Just one looks more traditional, the other looks kinda goofy. The Invo is generally more expensive.

I was under $1000 for wheels and tires. Got lucky with the AM wheel sale in March and got the wheels for like $80 each for 20x10 all the way around. Discount tire direct on eBay has the Nitto g2s for $400 per set with a $100 discount. So i ended up paying $600 for the tires plus another $50 or so for tax. Got 275/35 all the way around. I'd wait until Memorial Day to pull the trigger and see if LMR or AM are having sales.

But there are a ton of options on both sites that will fall below $2k. SVE GT350 package, AMR staggered package, SVE series packages, etc.

Much better but I also added steeda progressives, the subframe alignment, and the subframe bushings at the same time I had the wheels installed. Night and day difference.

What is the name of your wheel ? I went on AM and wasnt sure which one it is.

I know with my 3.31 gears l don't want to go any larger on tire diameter. Something you may want to consider if stepping up in not only width but dia.
18's could be a very good option, but not sure what gears your running with the stock GT though?

Why? 235/50 is not a good setup. The car feels real floaty and there isn't a lot of grip. But I drive my car to work and around town. I don't really care about weight and performance that much. Zero track and an occasional spirit run on freeway off ramps.

Just that moving up to 20" wheels can change things.

My point was l didn't want to lower my ratio. Going to lets say a common 275/35-20 will net you an effective ratio of 3.27, not a big difference. lt was just something you may want to consider?

Are you referring to how the speedometer changes because of larger or smaller diameter tires? The OEM 18" Neros I have are 27.2" in diameter according to TireRack.com. I highly doubt that I would notice any difference whatsoever while riding on a 26.8" or 27.6" or whatever diameter tire other than the speedo being off by a couple percent. That I can fix by using my SCT X4 to set the rear tire size in the car's computer. I too have 3.31 gears.

This kit comes in at my price range... front wheels only 23lbs. Comes with NT05s, though I can go with NT555 G2s with same wheels for about $400 cheaper.

They are ugly as sin, mind you, but I don't care if the performance is there. Is there some reason these are so cheap?
