Here's my current set-up, not the greatest pic but I really like the way they turned out.....
LOVE those wheels. Looks awesome

Someone REALLY needs to make those wheels in a lightweight, reasonably priced, flow-formed version!

From Continental web site:
DW Speed rating-W Treadwear-340 Traction AA Temperature A
DWS06 Speed rating-W Treadwear-560 Traction AA Temperature A
and has 50K mile warranty.
I paid $164 each for 255's and 194 each for 275's then -$70 rebate
If you prioritize price and mileage rating over performance and a tire specific to your weather conditions, hey all the power to you. Well, not really...cuz then you'd need DR's :p

I'm thinking about the Michelins, Jonathan.

In fact, I wanted to go with them when I replaced the stock PP wheels with the Velgens, but I couldn't find them and was told that they were on back order for several months.

I'm just wondering if the Michelin Pilot Super Sports will get better mileage than the Bridgestones.

I've seen a Michelin ad where they claim twice the mileage as competitors, so maybe so. Heck, if could get 18k - 20k on a set of rears, I'm in.

Thanks for your input.
Agree on the MPSS. They are supposed to last a long time relative to their performance. And let me tell you, these tires are sticky and they hook!! The only downside is they are so sticky they pick up all the stones on the road like crazy. I'm talking 50 degrees outside, cold tires and they still pick up and toss stones all into the wheel wheels. I've had a few sets of DR's before and these darn MPSS seem even more sticky then they were. Can't believe how well they perform. They are expensive, but if they also last as long as I hear, then they are WELL worth it!

Ha I did. was up at 0245 with my 5 day old.

Are those mt street comp tires? Would you use the same size again? Is it possible to do 305s in the front?

Thanks

Jesse
Yes they're street comps. If they made them in a 305/30 I would get that. But I'll deal with the taller tire for the price I paid for them!

Spacers in front? +45 10.5 should be hitting the strut or dangerously close a 10" ET45 normally requires a 3-5mm spacer and yours is about 7mm more backspace than that.
8mm spacer up front.

I don't know what it is about those downforce wheels. Sometimes they look awesome and sometimes their off a little. Definitely look good on your car.

Currently sitting on my 2015 GT Fastback. My 2016 Ruby Red GT PP Premium should be delivered in the next week and these will be making their way on there. Still torn on staying silver, going gunmetal, or gloss black. I am leaning towards gloss black on the Ruby since I like the gloss PP stock look.
