Your happiness is all that matters :headbang: I'm an Alabama fan and have some friends that are Gators fans and it was the first thing I thought of when I saw your car.

That rating is based on consumer reviews, not a Tire Rack expert review, and the DW reviews are based on way more reviews & miles (7,869,912 miles reported) vs. the relatively new DWS06 (981,641 miles reported).

Typically, summer tires will have better wet traction than all-season tires, and certainly better dry performance, including cornering. People's expectations are likely higher with a season-dedicated tire than a jack-of-all-trades tire, which they know has to come with some degree of compromise in each season.

I suppose it's possible the DWS06 outperforms the DW in the "DW" categories, but it would be unlikely. I can't imagine Continental created an all season tire that outperforms their dedicated summer tire in summer performance, specifically tuned to handle D & W without a compromise to also handle "S". And again, you simply don't need the "S" tuning of the tire for Florida. It's like buying a waterproof jacket if you live somewhere where it never rains.

But, hey, if you just cruise around casually all the time, then it doesn't matter :D
From Continental web site:
DW Speed rating-W Treadwear-340 Traction AA Temperature A
DWS06 Speed rating-W Treadwear-560 Traction AA Temperature A
and has 50K mile warranty.
I paid $164 each for 255's and 194 each for 275's then -$70 rebate

Currently sitting on my 2015 GT Fastback. My 2016 Ruby Red GT PP Premium should be delivered in the next week and these will be making their way on there. Still torn on staying silver, going gunmetal, or gloss black. I am leaning towards gloss black on the Ruby since I like the gloss PP stock look.
