Csnow - are those gloss black? It's cool how you can see the lip around them. Did you get them from LMR?
Made a great deal on Ebay on a set that are black face and gloss graphite lip.

Looks great! I think I'm going to go with a set of these wheels -- can't decide on the color yet though. I haven't got them yet, but folks who have the BMR's love them SP80 handling kit, or using the front-only 7/8 drop with stock rears, or handling rears, people are saying they ride like stock or better -- and the Steeda ultralight linears have a lot of followers too.
Thanks I looked around think I'm sold on the BMR Sp080

Those look REALLY good for 18s!
Thank you. We were actually on Swift Spec-R lowering springs at the time which is 1.1in drop in the front a 1.0in in the rear. Very small drop.

You are in Florida....why did you go with DWS06?
treadwear and price. I got a GREAT price on these locally. and a $70 rebate. They are comfy and plenty of traction for how I plan to drive.

Even though they are "rated" for snow (dwS), they are one of the top rated wet traction tires in their category according to Tirerack.

I hear you man, I've had DW's and DWS's in the past and they are great tires, especially for the money. They are also relatively light weight too.

But unless it changed the DW was just as good if not better in the wet, and better in the dry. In Florida you don't need the "S".

But if it was a deal he couldn't pass up...

From tirerack:

The DW is listed in the "max performance summer" category and is rated 8.8 for wet traction & 9.0 for dry traction.

The DWS 06 is listed in the "ultra high performance all-season" category and it is rated 9.3 for wet traction & 9.2 for dry traction.

If these are correct I would buy the DWS06 over the DW even though I live in Florida too. I always buy the best wet traction tire possible.

You have spacers on?

I've 20x10 MMD 45et and mine are a little tucked even with 5mm spacers all around. I want to get some 20mm bolt on spacers

That rating is based on consumer reviews, not a Tire Rack expert review, and the DW reviews are based on way more reviews & miles (7,869,912 miles reported) vs. the relatively new DWS06 (981,641 miles reported).

Typically, summer tires will have better wet traction than all-season tires, and certainly better dry performance, including cornering. People's expectations are likely higher with a season-dedicated tire than a jack-of-all-trades tire, which they know has to come with some degree of compromise in each season.

I suppose it's possible the DWS06 outperforms the DW in the "DW" categories, but it would be unlikely. I can't imagine Continental created an all season tire that outperforms their dedicated summer tire in summer performance, specifically tuned to handle D & W without a compromise to also handle "S". And again, you simply don't need the "S" tuning of the tire for Florida. It's like buying a waterproof jacket if you live somewhere where it never rains.

But, hey, if you just cruise around casually all the time, then it doesn't matter :D

1" spacers, yeah. I need to get around to throwing the TPMS sensors on the tires (bought them after installation ) and I am going to see if the fronts will clear the suspension with smaller spacers (bought 5mm and 8mm hubcentric spacers to test).
