my 3 gun case may have fit diagonally, but i had an AR in a separate case underneath it that may have added to the problem. i wasnt expecting to pop one of the seats down myself, because i know the 3 gun case has fit in there before, but i didn't have the .308 in it at the time.

Folding backseats and taking out spare tire dramatically increases exhaust sound inside.
I did the opposite and added Dynamat extreme to the spare tire well and several broad areas in the trunk. It knocked down some of the road noise that transmits from the trunk area. The older I get the more I hate noise. I would love to do the doors too but don't want to take panels off yet.

Has anyone walked away with the FOB in their pocket while the car is running? One will get an abrupt reminder from the car horn. :headbonk:

I just checked tonight. My M1a is in a hard case and won't fit in the trunk with the subwoofer. I need to fold a seat down. My Mp5 and 870 fit with no probs though.

I was pleasantly surprised that on my vert with the tonneau caps on, the top will refuse to go up and give you a reminder to take them off.

I thought the window switches were defective, or "clicky" until I realized they are 2-step. A half-press (one click) is manual down, and a full press (2-clicks) is express/auto down.

That's pretty much every car's window switch for the past 15 years. First new car in a while?

Came from a (1998) Z28 Camaro. It had auto down (not express), but stopped working. It didn't "double-click" though, it went auto after like 2 seconds of holding the button. My previous 99 Mustang GT, a 2013 Chevy Sonic, and 2014 Toyota Tacoma (company delivery vehicles) don't have the feature.

Agreed. Remote start is awesome. I moved up from a 2005 Frontier with roll-up windows, so all these features are awesome, and remote start is my fav

Secret Glasses compartment
All cool ( to varying degrees) stuff.

I just learned how to put my Base GT into Sport Mode. (Tap the Stability Control button twice) Guess I need to re-read the owners manual again. I must've missed that part the first time around.

That much I knew about, was unaware of the double-tap. It even says "AdvanceTrac Sport Mode" on the main screen when I do that. Makes me feel a little better about not getting the Premium! hehe :D
