So still on the fence about the Gt350.

Everytime I watch a youtube video about the gt350 I get closer to falling over the fence :D

Farah's latest video really got me, the sound :headbonk:and his love for the car

I know a fair # on here who have ADDED a gt350 to their stable which includes euro sports cars.

Unfortunately I am not in the position to add a gt350, but rest assured if I ever have the means to build a 5 car garage, it would be in it.

So for me the gt350 would be replacing my 2016 Cayman S, which I still enjoy and am just bored of. It's not a commuter car for me, but just a pleasure road car, no track duties.

I was bored of my 2014 Cayman S and so got a 2015 C7 and that didn't go so well (sold it within 3 weeks and ordered the 2016). I did find the C7 lacked the finesse and precision of the 981 and that took away from the driving experience and made it less fun than my 981. I don't want to go down that path again with the gt350 especially since getting another NA 981 could be tricky.

So has anyone here replaced their euro sports car with a gt350? How did that go for ya? How does it stack up as a fun refined car compared to its predeccessor?

The new Cayman's are very pretty cars, but you will be much more entertained in the GT350 i'd imagine. I spent all day yesterday driving my 997S, it was fun. Then I got into my GT350 - it felt like a hypercar in comparison.

Here is what you do. Drive your 981 to a ford dealership and go test drive a GT 350.
Does any dealer do test drives for the 350?

The ones i have found with a car have not allowed it. Not a very helpful suggestion from the previous poster, IMO

I think you'd have more success with someone on this forum meeting up and letting you go for a ride along.

As a matter of fact.....I was just thinkin about starting a thread asking if there was anyone in the pittsburgh, pa area that would be willing to give me a ride. I'd pay for gas.
I ordered a 2016 tech pack gt350 back in sept of 2015 that still hasn't been delivered. While I was waiting a couple things happened. One is the trans over heating/limp mode issue that surfaced in the tech pack cars. Because of this I decided to pass on the 2016 and order a '17. In the meantime I found a low mileage 2015 M4, bought it, and really like it. Long story short, now I need to decide if I should order the '17 and get rid of the M4 or not. I think it would be easier if I could experience the GT350. Anyone?

i track my e92 m3 DCT and im about to order the R. Im keeping my E92 because it is purpose built and the v8 motor is perfect! plus i love the dual clutch. i test drove both at a track event and i knew id fall in love and i did immediatly. i miss driving manual.....but, If you are able to keep the M4 and get ther 350 do it....best of both worlds, if not id opt for the 350. All depends what you like? if you track? driving style?

Good luck finding one. My dealership wouldn't let anyone test drive the car I bought unless the buyer was serious (paperwork towards the purchase process).

I just saw someone else just about said the same thing. Oops

To be honest I never driven...and I am really digging this car.
In my garage currently Nissan GT-R and r8 spyder v10.
I like to add the gt350 to the stable.
Maybe someone in pa can let me get a ride along.

That's a nice pair... I'm a fan of those 2 cars as well. If someone in PA can give you a ride that'll be cool or maybe even a lead-follow where they drive your R8 (or GT-R) while you follow in their GT350... or vice-versa. Not a bad temporary swap IMO.

Not a bad temporary swap.... I'd gladly do it but I'm in FL. :D

I saw a video on the internet of a guy test driving one in Cali. Some may. Don't hurt to ask.

Dimitri I had a 2014 GT-R. Looking forward to my GT350, I'm hoping that it will be as glorious as others have stated. I know 100% it will sound better than my stock exhaust GT-R, pretty much the only thing I didn't like about the car.

The paint and assembly quality of the GT 350 are not worthy of a vehicle in this (or any) price range, but the driving experience is orgasmic.
