Not sure. He showed me the templates (same ones I saw on Xpel's website). Do they cut with enough added material to wrap?

You must add PPF to the cut to wrap if not the Machine only cuts to the outer edge of the hood and XPEL doesn't have a pattern for the full hood yet on GT350 only mustangs

Does the installer have a machine or he will custom the whole job.

Thats great that is the best the old guy shows how it's done one piece hood the only way go big or go home, good shot EH.

I called a place in my area for Xpel ultimate ,full front was $2200 and 1/2 front was $1500 does that sound right?

Seems about right from what I've seen. When you say full front you mean hood, bumper, fenders, side mirrors right? I got my side fenders and hood custom wrapped, then the pre-cut kit for my bumper and it was $1800. I got Suntek but they should be similar in price.
