Indeed, bizarrely enough I drove down to Southampton this morning and saw at least three transporters carrying Mustangs on the M3, I was kind of hoping that meant they were on their way!

Any comp oranges with ceramic interior? Admittedly, last I heard it was waiting to have a Thatcham sticker applied before it could be loaded onto a transporter, so it could be a good 4 weeks off yet.

Not that I remember, but seeing the interiors from the other side of the motorway would have been a bit tricky ;)

Went past my dealership after work on the off chance that maybe the transporter arrived with my car on it.

No such luck. :(

I did get to ask about them fitting the GT350 steering wheel in order to maintain my factory warranty, and they have no problem with it - they didn't tell me how much it'd cost, however. ;)

There was also a beautiful race red GT in the showroom that had been bought and cancelled TWICE! So if anyone wants a Race Red GT NOW, contact Lookers Ford in Sunderland.

Just got a tentative date to pick up from the dealer. Next wednesday as it would appear it does take around a week to put the security stickers on. (Honestly!?)

Anyway, as the dealer is cooperative I'm getting a same day in and out quick PDI job, about the only efficient part of the whole process!

Just had an email from my dealer. He phoned the compound at Southampton and they said they're not working over the weekend at all, meaning no car this week. :/

Mine is being delivered to the dealer's PDI centre tomorrow, and I'm told I should be able to collect Wed/Thurs next week.

Normally I love the long Easter break but this year it will really drag, as it is only holding up me getting my hands on the car !

All you expectant parents, make sure you check your undersealing. Speaking to my dealer this afternoon he says they've had a couple of cars back where underseal has over sprayed onto the rear diffuser & onto the inside of the alloys.

Good point - need to check the state of my undercarriage now the car is home.

Dealer has agreed to rectify any issues if discovered whilst I prep it.

Has anyone else come over on the Tysla and moved on to Southampton yet?

My car has been at Zeebrugger for two weeks, so hoping to be on-route very soon. Hopefully then on to the dealer for early April pick-up.

Apart from bugging Stacey is there any other way to find out the ship allocation to Southampton?

It's part of the checklist so hopefully everyone can look at that and use it!
