There is torque management per gear, clutch protection torque management for the times when clutch is engaged and there is also a special section for TM in Drive/Neutral, which can limit troque during shifts.

I'm glad I found this thread. I noticed what seemed to be hitting the Rev limiter in first gear, but it wasn't at redline. I just picked my car up yesterday. It makes the shifts funky. I never experienced anything like this iny 1le camaro.

I'm guessing TM can be adjusted with a tune?

What you are experiencing could be TM or Traction control depending on when its happening, etc. A tune from us or another vendor will resolve this

I would think TM as I didn't feel any wheel slip or see any tc lights light up. It dropped rpms pretty quickly. I put it in sport mode and experienced the same thing. It really feels like I'm not getting full power either.

Why is it that ppl assume you should shift at peak power? Ideally you want to shift slightly after peak to stay closer to that peak in the next gear.

Playing around today with car. Did a 1st gear roll at 4000 rpm, stomped on it ,blew the tires of in 1st, hit the clutch at around 6500- 6700 and shifted, watched the rpm hand hit 7000 once I let my foot off the gas to hit the clutch, switched into second, spun again shifted around 6500-6700, hit third and chirped the tires then from 3rd to 4th shifted right at 6500-6700 watched the rpm hand drop to maybe 6900 7000 once I let off the gas to hit the clutch. Car pulled and shifted hard. Didnt feel any torque management kick in. I guess that's the sweet spot. I've herd of people speed shifting without taking their foot off the gas but I feel like I'll tear some shit up if I do that lol

Did you find a solution? Mine hits a limiter at 4,000 rpm almost every time I launch hard. It's annoying to say the least.

Sounds like you are clutching in while having your right leg on the throttle.

I'm not expert but if you were accelerating .. lets see about to hit 5k rpm and you clutched in while still having throttle going in, the revs will jump quickly to redline until you take throttle off.

Sometimes on 1st gear the car seems to hit rev limit quite early that the rpm will hang and power will be cut off completely. That moment you realize you have to shift to 2nd.

So should I shift around 6500-6700? once I put my foot on the clutch the rpm arm drops to 7000 7100 anyway. If I switch at 7000, step on clutch, rpm arm drops to 7300 or more and I over rev.
Because you are downshifting and you should up shift instead, than you won't hit the limiter nor you will over rev your engine.
Seriously?
