Installed the Roush Intake a couple weeks ago and its ridiculously loud in cabin, maybe too loud. My original plan was to do intake and Outlaws because of the deep sound that it offers.

Wanted to see what someone else that had this setup thought about it.

I want a loud exhaust but not something thats going to cause my ears to be destroyed everytime i drive, or cause me to scream to hear a conversation.

I do, and I agree with the roush. It got very loud in the cabin when I installed it. I then added the flowmaster outlaws. I really do like the outlaws but you will get drone with them. Only when you punch it or on the highway going around 70mph and up. The drone isn't too loud but it is there. I do overall like the sound of my flowmasters.

any way you could capture a sound clip of the drone at 70+? I do a ton of highway driving, about 2 hours a day around and above those speeds so im really worried about getting exhaust and then totally regretting it.

Curious to know how this sounds as well.. thinking about running that same setup. In fact, just got my Roush CAI about 5 minutes ago and Was gonna order some outlaws this weekend. Hopefully someone can post a sound clip of the two.

Not much surprisingly at that speed from what I noticed. I hear more drone coming off of full stops in the 2k rpm range but once you are up to cruising speed exhaust tone is decrease.
