I'm talking more from a customer service and communication perspective. Yes their market is more important to them but they should provide quality customer service by just communicating better with our market. There has not been much evidence of that as yet.To put things into perspective, the US sells almost twice the number us Aussies have ordered in total per month... according to Wikipedia, Ford sold sold 122,349 Mustangs in the US in 2015 (10,195/month)
While we are big hitters for our population size, our population is tiny compared to other markets. I'm sure they appreciate our market, but they're not going to put off their own local market which has more competition to service it
