Thanks Jord + Stiggy. Bugger, mine wasn't in list.

I'll be really fu**ed off if I can't pick mine up on 9th April. It has to be that day for a number of reasons. You really would think THREE months from being built should be enough!
Im at week 15:(.....still no car:frusty:

Unfortunately not what they do at all. Completley new to ford and a lot of inexperience!

Frustrating that time spent actually traveling to time spent in compounds is a ration of about 5:1. Delivery could be achieved in 1 month theoretically.

Henry Ford was a pioneer of time and motion, he'd be turning in his grave!

It's stupid how long they spend WAITING doing NOTHING. If it went FR-BALTI 1 day
Baltimore - zeebrugge - 8-12days
Zeebrugge to Southampton 3
days
Southampton to dealership 3 days

These include checks etc you're talking 18 days on a critical path. Instead we get 90 hahaha!

Oh well my car is moving I shouldn't jinx myself more!

Not if Ford had anything to do with it. He'd be waiting to be scheduled to turn in his grave. In Belgium. ;)

JUST HAD AN UPDATE FROM MY DEALER!

The ship Mignon operated by WWL has pulled into Zeebrugge at 1pm this afternoon. Its a car carrier. It'll be arriving in Southampton on the 20th. Cars from the Torago are currently in the compound waiting to be shipped and my dealer expects them to be on this one.

He said my delivery date has fallen back to the 16th of April, but he suspects that's just Ford's system being stupid as per usual.

The ship will be departing on the 18th and arriving in Southampton on the 20th.

Of to the dealer today to sort paperwork and to chivvy them along in terms of getting the car to the dealership and PDI etc.
I did exactly the same today. My dealer's very grateful that I keep him updated on my car's progress.

Just a trip on the motorway to go, presumably under police escort :)

After 10 months of waiting, I finally received my new baby.

Holy cow what an amazing machine. Did a little breaking in via some spirited driving. WOW :eek::eek::D

When I get a bit more time tomorrow I'll post up some pics.

Kind of nicknamed it "Metallicar" (nod to Supernatural) due to colour, aggressive looks, and listening to "And Justice for All" album while testing it out. Yahoo!!!.

My dealer has left a voicemail stating the same. But he also has a car that was on the same boat for 2nd April.

On a similar note, asked for balance.

I've paid £10000 down and he thinks balance is £25980

Mine was ordered March 2015, GT with the 3 options/not custom pack.
I had it at £32995 + £795, £495, £295 a total of £34580.

I know the tax might have put it up a few quid but sure he's got this wrong.

Anyone know if I'm right?

You're right they're wrong your price should be held under the price guarantee at 34580 not 1500 more I don't think!

I take it from your pic you're a race red so i'd agree with Manders. I figure my total to be £35185 with the same options as you plus Magnetic paint. and the £10 increase in road tax...
