Couple of others names i've seen batted around (I think guillford ford (correct me if im wrong) have had some good dealers, so do Kent Ford apparently. But, it's a needle in a haystack. :lol:

In respect to my dealer he's become a bit more open to my conversations recently, his information still lacks and that of which i can find online, or from Karen and Stacey is far superior, but for the little things I can't control, he's being great, ask and you shall receive as the saying goes ;).

Newbie here who ordered back in September '15.

Have to say this forum has provided so much information from everyone, especially Manders Mustang, so thanks!

It's apparent that I've been given more information from Stacey at ford@mustang (who replies damn quickly :first than what my dealer gives me.

Is this normal for everyone?

According to Stacey, mine is due to be built next week (:clap2, and having ordered back in Sep '15, I've not heard a beep from the dealer to date.

Have I just got a lazy dealer or should I have been told?

That's unfortunately completely normal. I haven't heard from my dealer since I placed my order.

I guess we'll just have to endure.

When I have went to the dealership my dealer has been a really nice guy, it's just a pity that he will ignore some of my emails and never give me any info on my order.

Viking Odessa arrived in Southampton 05:30 this morning Looks like it's busy unloading before movig on to Santander.

If there's one thing this process has taught me, is that there a re feck load of shipping movements going on at any one time!!!

Of to the dealer today to sort paperwork and to chivvy them along in terms of getting the car to the dealership and PDI etc.

Cna't believe it's almost here (hopefully)

My dealer yesterday was telling me cars in Southampton clear in a voucher of days the big wait is dealers finding out when they can collect the cars...

So much like you I've told him when I know it's in Southampton I'll call him to go and get it. He pulls that off and he'll have brought back a chunk or respect he's lost for ignoring /dodging calls etc [emoji23]

Southampton to dealership is double ownership. Ford tell the dealer when it's passed security checks. Dealer then is in control of when it's bought up. That's my knowledge from forums and talking to my dealer.

WWL Updated, i've been loaded onto the boat, looks like my car actually made it onto the boat rather than being driven into the sea like i'd expected :lol: :lol:

Oh sorry, last post said long haul to baltimore, got mistaken, was tracking the ship online last night and it was moored like the docks on the entrance to baltimores port but not in baltimore... :lol: Must have got confused - changed it now.

Long distance. Short time to get it into zeebrugge. Hopefully it's first off first undersealed put on a ferry with no other mustangs, security cleared and brought up all in the same day... well, that's how my dealer sees it happening, especially thinking the car would be ready for easter. Hahaha!

Time to sell my old car! Anyone want an immaculate 2011 limited edition corsa, offers open. Decent daily or first car for any of your kids![emoji23] [emoji12]
